Come and learn more about us

We provide a fantastic pre school environment for children who are aged two to five years.

Staff

Our fully qualified and experienced members of staff ensure that all of our children’s needs are met as closely as possible, including any children with special needs. All permanent staff hold an early years educator qualification and the pre-school manager manager holds a BA hons in early years and education. Staff also complete regular safeguarding and paediatric first aid training.

Committee

Oldland Pre-school is a registered charity, and we have a management committee who work closely with staff to organise fundraising events and help make decisions about the running of the Pre-school. We always welcome new members to the committee and meet regularly throughout the year.

Please e-mail committee@oldlandpreschool.co.uk for more information.

Working With Families

We appreciate the importance of family involvement in the early stages of a child’s development and education. Therefore, we actively encourage families to help within their child’s class, as well as applying to become members of our Management Committee.

Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND)

We recognise that some children need extra help, and if needed we work closely with you as parents/carers and professionals (e.g. Community Paediatrician, Speech & Language Therapy, Local Authority) to support your child. We are experienced at supporting a wide range of needs. Please talk to us if you need more information or would like to look at our SEND policy.

Ofsted

We are Ofsted registered and were rated as GOOD in our latest inspection in September 2023.
